A Graphical Representation for Matrices in the (Max,+) Algebra

We study matrices in the (Max; +) algebra. We introduce a new tool for describing the deterministic spectral behaviour of matrices of size 3 3. It consists in a graphical representation of eigenvectors and domains of attraction in the projective space. It appears to be very helpful in understanding some of the phenomena occurring in this algebra. Une Repr esentation Graphique pour les Matrices dans l'Alg ebre (Max,+) R esum e : L' etude porte sur les matrices dans l'alg ebre (Max,+). On intro-duit un nouvel outil de description du comportement spectral des matrices d eterministes de dimension 3. Il s'agit d'une repr esentation graphique des vecteurs propres et de leur domaine d'attraction dans l'espace projectif. Cette repr esentation apparait tr es utile pour comprendre certains ph eno-m enes intervenant dans l'alg ebre (Max,+).
